ABOUT TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Just a short drive from Arusha, Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems. Covering about 2,850 sq. km, it is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River that attracts wildlife during the dry season.

Tarangire offers a more authentic, less crowded safari experience compared to Serengeti and Ngorongoro, making it a favorite among safari enthusiasts.
